Forbes Names Barnes Dennig a Top Tax and Top Accounting Firm for 2022
Published on by Kat Jenkins in Firm News

For the second year in a row, Barnes Dennig is one of the U.S.’s Top Recommended Firms in both the Tax and Accounting categories – one of only 177 firms across the nation to make both lists. More than 4,400 firms were considered in compiling this year’s list, according to Forbes.
“What do business leaders want in a tax and accounting firm? Trusted advisors who can do audit and tax work as innovatively and efficiently as possible, and then dish out advice on strategic planning and business process improvements,” says the Forbes article announcing the 2022 Top Recommended Firms list.
This directly aligns with the value Barnes Dennig provides clients, with a wide range of consulting and advisory services including lease accounting, client accounting and advisory services, state and local tax compliance, cost segregation studies, mergers and acquisitions consulting, wealth management, and tax credits and incentives – including helping hundreds of companies and non-profit organizations navigate the uncharted waters of pandemic relief over the past two years. A series of QuickTests helps businesses and organizations determine whether they may qualify for additional programs in under five minutes.
Barnes Dennig also focuses on providing client education and resources, annually producing multiple original research reports that help organizations build a competitive edge as well as dozens of educational events – many of which offer continuing professional education (CPE) for attendees – and an Ask the Experts video series that conveys critical information on a wide range of topics in short, easy to digest clips.
Survey methodology
Partnering with market research company Statista, Forbes surveyed tax and accounting professionals and their clients, asking them to name up to 10 tax and accounting firms they would recommend based on their professional experience over the past three years; the firms receiving the most recommendations were included in the final list – and Forbes is careful to note that self-recommendations were not considered in determining the recognized firms.
