Rachael has ten years of experience providing assurance services, business insights and best practices to her clients. She primarily serves not-for-profit organizations and has a broad range of accounting and auditing experience, including Uniform Guidance compliance, Yellow Book compliance, financial statement and employee benefit plan audits. She complements that experience with extensive technical training and excellent communication skills, which makes her an asset to the firm’s clients.
As a steering committee member for the Women’s Growth and Development Initiative at Barnes Dennig and a leader of annual and periodic training courses, Rachael helps develop both firm personnel and community organizations seeking support. She also facilitates forums for financial leaders of local not-for-profits in the mental health and education sectors to promote financial education and collaboration. Her leadership and business expertise are further applied as an adjunct professor at the University of Cincinnati.
Rachael enjoys active involvement in the community. She serves on the Board of Directors of Covington Partners, a local non-profit that supports youth development and eliminates boundaries to learning within the Covington and Northern Kentucky area. She volunteers her time with several other organizations and was a member of the 2014 National Multiple Sclerosis Leadership Class of Cincinnati and its Emerging Leaders Council in 2015.
