Barnes Dennig is proud to be the 2025 winner of the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce’s Business Impact Awards – an annual event that celebrates the success and strength of the Northern Kentucky business community and recognizes businesses of all sizes, new and long-standing, that positively impact the local business community through innovation, creativity, strong business practices, and leadership.
Barnes Dennig Managing Director Jay Rammes accepted the award, saying, “It’s great to be recognized and we’re so honored by this prestigious award. We’ve been deeply committed to the Northern Kentucky market since our founding 60 years ago, and this award is recognition for our people and all the value that we bring to our clients and the local community. To be honored as we celebrate our 60th anniversary is especially meaningful to our team, and we’re very thankful.”
“This year’s Business Impact Awards finalists have not only driven economic growth – they’ve helped shape the NKY Metro region into an exciting and welcoming place to live, work, learn, play, and give back,” says NKY Chamber President Brent Cooper. “With so many outstanding nominees, narrowing it down to just 10 winners was no easy task. Each business truly exemplifies the forward thinking, dedication, and spirit that keep our region economically healthy and competitive. Congratulations to this year’s winners and all of the finalists.”
In 2014, Barnes Dennig merged with Northern Kentucky CPA firm Bertke, Sparks & Kremer, expanding the firm’s presence in Kentucky and furthering Barnes Dennig’s strategy of growing and becoming stronger in the region.
The Small, Medium, and Large Business Awards recognize companies that are industry leaders in their respective markets and represent Northern Kentucky to the broader region by providing outstanding goods or services, according to the Northern Kentucky Tribune. Other categories include the Community Champions Award (For-Profit and Non-Profit), the Cool Place to Work Award, the Start-Up Award, the Innovation Award, the Heritage Award, and the Environmental Stewardship Award. In 2024, Barnes Dennig was also a finalist in the Community Champions For-Profit category.
The awards recognized businesses in 10 categories, with five finalists in each category. The 2025 Business Impact Awards were held on May 1st at Drees Pavilion in Devou Park.
