About Steve
As a long-standing member of the Barnes Dennig leadership team, Steve plays an integral role in the firm’s assurance practice, including involvement with some of the firm’s largest and most complex assurance clients, particularly in the Wholesale/Distribution industry. Steve serves various clients in multiple industries with a significant concentration in the wholesale/distribution and manufacturing industries.
Steve also leads the firm’s Peer Review practice, for which he has a deep passion and commitment, and frequently assists other firms that need additional expertise on their peer review team.
He provides leadership for the firm in Employee Benefit Plan audits and Captive Insurance auditing, and earned his Associate in Captive Insurance (ACI) designation through his work in the captive industry.
As a member of the firm’s Assurance Quality Control Committee, he helps the firm deliver peace of mind to clients through assurance services of the highest quality. His breadth of knowledge, experience, and training spans both the accounting and audit disciplines, and he’s well-regarded by his clients and co-workers for his insight, ability, and positive attitude.
Steve has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Cincinnati and earned his MBA from Xavier University with a Finance concentration. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants.
