Barnes Dennig Joins the Dayton Development Coalition

Dayton Development Coalition

Continuing our rapid growth in the Dayton area, Barnes Dennig is excited to announce we’re the newest member of the Dayton Development Coalition – joining dozens of other development-focused companies and organizations focused on growing this dynamic market.

The DDC is a non-profit organization dedicated to recruiting, expanding, and retaining jobs in the Dayton region as well as opening doors for businesses interested in locating or expanding within the region. With multiple services, partnerships, and resources and a packed events calendar, the DDC offers multiple opportunities for growth and development in the region. Learn more on the DDC website.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Barnes Dennig as a DDC investor and grateful for their support of economic development in the Dayton Region,” said Janet Harp, Vice President of Stakeholder Relations for the Dayton Development Coalition. “Our investors are public and private businesses who understand the value of financially supporting economic development. Job creation and capital investment creates opportunity for all businesses in the region. Economic development is a team sport that requires a business community committed to supporting our efforts.”

Barnes Dennig Director in Charge of the Dayton Office, Don Schrodi said, “We’re proud to partner with the DDC – with our shared vision for Dayton’s future and commitment to bringing it to life, investing in this great organization is a natural fit. It’s the premier regional development organization in western Ohio and they’ve made tremendous strides forward – we’re excited to be a part of Dayton’s future in such a meaningful way.”

Building on that, Barnes Dennig Managing Director Jay Rammes added, “Our organization has always realized that for any region to have strong sustainable growth, you need partnerships between the business, government, and the communities that support us.  We feel this is just one more way we can play a larger part in that sustained growth of Dayton.”

This is the latest step forward in Barnes Dennig’s rapid growth in Dayton, as the firm was just named the market’s seventh-largest accounting firm by the Dayton Business Journal.
