About Ian
A strategic thinker with long-term vision and a Cincinnati native with a deep passion for community and the arts, Ian oversees marketing technology, communications, and the strategic growth of emerging markets for the firm. He drives growth through data-driven campaigns and partnerships, oversees omnichannel automation and marketing technology administration, and serves as the firm’s go-to for digital transformation in marketing.
Throughout his career, Ian has been at the forefront of integrating innovative marketing technology platforms. From marketing automation and CRM systems to advanced analytics and AI-powered solutions, his efforts have streamlined operations, enhanced client engagement, and accelerated pipeline growth.
He’s skilled at aligning marketing initiatives with sales objectives to deliver scalable demand generation and revenue impact in complex B2B environments. He also manages seminar programming, supports the Indianapolis market, and co-stewards the Barnes Dennig brand and core content.
Ian is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati, earning an MBA, a graduate certificate in innovation, and an undergraduate degree in marketing and international business. He’s worked in B2B and financial services marketing since 2013, with a focus on strategic growth, campaign management, operations, and brand management.
Deeply engaged in the arts community, Ian has volunteered broadly with ArtsWave, serving as Co-Chair of the Young Professionals committee (2020–2022), Chair of the YP Grants committee (2020), a cabinet member for the 2022 community campaign, and as a member of the Sustaining Impact Grants committee (2024-2025).
He serves on the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees for the Art Academy of Cincinnati (2023–present) and is Co-Chair of the Blog Committee for the Association for Accounting Marketing (AAM) (2024–present). Inside the firm, he led the Emerging Professionals and Wellness initiatives for six years.
Ian enjoys expanding his worldview through volunteerism, travel, and new experiences. When he’s not planning his next trip, he can be found getting lost in a good book, spending time in his kitchen crafting new recipes, making art and writing fiction, or strategically trying to lock down his favorite bench at the gym.
He lives in Norwood, Ohio, with his wife Taryn and their dog Juno. He kindly requests that you do not say the word “walk” in front of Juno during meetings.
