About Tyler
Tyler provides audit, accounting, and advisory services to privately held businesses, with specialized expertise serving construction contractors and other growth-oriented companies.
He has extensive experience helping construction clients navigate industry-specific challenges, including revenue recognition, work-in-process reporting, job costing, surety and bonding requirements, and evolving accounting standards. His practical approach and deep understanding of the construction industry enable him to serve as a trusted advisor to owners, executives, and financial leaders.
In addition to leading assurance engagements, Tyler is a member of Barnes Dennig’s Transaction Advisory Services practice, where he performs Quality of Earnings analyses and financial due diligence for mergers and acquisitions.
Tyler also has significant experience serving employee benefit plan clients. Since joining Barnes Dennig in 2016, Tyler has built strong relationships with clients while mentoring and developing team members across the firm. He is passionate about helping staff grow both technically and professionally and enjoys investing in the next generation of leaders.
Tyler is actively involved in the community and serves on multiple non-profit boards, including as Treasurer of the Ohio Valley Construction Education Foundation. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, hiking, playing pickleball and golf, cooking, and spending time with his goldendoodle, Kona.
