About Tracey
Tracey draws on more than 20 years of tax experience including federal, state, and local tax planning at the corporate and individual level, which she uses to help her clients develop and implement strategies to minimize their tax burden. Her dedication to detail, responsiveness, and commitment to ensuring the best possible outcomes make her an invaluable asset to her clients.
Tracey’s experience is primarily with closely held companies and associated family groups. She is responsible for the preparation and review of corporate and individual tax returns, as well as budgeting and staff supervision. Tracey has strong interpersonal skills which help grow and strengthen her client relationships.
Prior to joining Barnes Dennig, Tracey spent nine years at an international CPA firm and worked for a small family office, where she gained significant experience with individual tax returns. Most recently, she was Director of Finance for a large public school district overseeing all financial operations of a multi-million dollar budget.
Tracey received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the Gatton College of Business and Economics at the University of Kentucky. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants (OSCPA).
For many years Tracey has spent countless hours watching her kids play sports, however, that time is nearing the end. Her spare time is now filled with traveling to new places and spending time on the lake. More recently, she’s taken up gardening and raising fresh vegetables. Most of all, she loves spending time with her husband, daughter, and twin sons.
