About Mary
Mary has more than 33 years of experience providing assurance, tax, and consulting services to organizations in a variety of industries. Her primary focus is closely held companies and their owners in numerous industries including physician practices, tool & die, and other service industries.
In addition, she provides individual tax compliance and consulting services to numerous clients, including high-wealth individuals. She enjoyed and played an integral role for many years in firm recruiting and leading the individual tax training for interns and new hires.
Mary started her career with Deloitte in 1987 and joined Thorn Lewis + Duncan in February 2004. Thorn Lewis + Duncan merged with Barnes Dennig in January 2021.
Mary earned a Bachelor of Science in accounting, with a minor in finance, from Wright State University. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, in addition to being a member of the Ohio Society of CPAs.
Mary enjoys spinning, playing the piano, and beach vacations with her husband. She is particularly fond of her 5 awesome grandchildren and loves spending time with them!
