About Kevin
Kevin draws on two decades of experience in public accounting and firm leadership to help closely held businesses and high-net-worth individuals navigate complex tax and accounting matters. He focuses on federal, state, and local tax compliance, strategic tax planning, and practical advisory services that align with each client’s long-term goals.
Before joining Barnes Dennig, Kevin founded and led a local full-service CPA firm providing tax compliance, planning, and advisory services. In that role, he oversaw complex individual, corporate, and pass-through entity returns, multi-state filings, and advanced planning strategies including entity structuring and retirement planning. He also managed firm operations, technology initiatives, and staff development, giving him a strong appreciation for the day-to-day realities business owners face.
Earlier in his career, Kevin served as a Manager with a large international accounting firm, supervising audit engagements under GAAP and PCAOB standards and advising on SEC reporting matters.
Kevin is known for his approachable style, collaborative mindset, and ability to translate complex tax and accounting matters into clear, actionable guidance. He previously served on the board of directors of the FBI Cincinnati Citizens Academy Alumni Association as Treasurer, providing oversight of budgeting, cash flow, and financial governance.
Kevin earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Cincinnati and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants (OSCPA).
When he isn’t helping clients navigate the tax code, Kevin enjoys golfing and spending time with his wife and daughter.
