As a member of Barnes Dennig’s tax team, Heather is committed to helping her clients develop and implement strategies that minimize their tax burden. She is attentive to regulatory and legislative changes, and she receives high marks from clients for her responsiveness and attention to detail. She has 12 years of public accounting experience.
Heather is responsible for the preparation and review of corporate tax returns, as well as budgeting and staff supervision. She prepares the individual tax returns for shareholders of certain clients, in addition to handling their corporate returns. Within Barnes Dennig’s tax team, Heather has taken a leading role in monitoring regulatory and legislative changes that impact corporate taxes, then educating colleagues and clients on the best ways to minimize corporate tax burdens.
Many of Heather’s clients have international operations or are owned by an internationally based company. This experience has made her an important resource and a key member of the firm’s International Practice Group.
Heather graduated summa cum laude from Xavier University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Accounting and Finance, and she earned a Master’s in Business Administration. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants (OSCPA).
