About Harold
Harold has well over three decades of experience performing audit and accounting services, including 14 years with a large international CPA firm. As a Barnes Dennig Director, Harold specializes in the valuation of corporations and partnerships for a variety of tax, assurance, and financing needs. He also provides value-added audit, accounting, and consulting services to clients across multiple industries. His goal is to provide ideas, insights, and information to his clients that can help them improve operations and profitability.
As a member of the firm’s Assurance Quality Control Committee, he helps deliver assurance services that provide clients with valuable peace of mind. His broad expertise in accounting and audit, paired with his wealth of experience and training, has earned him the respect of clients and coworkers for his insight, skill, and positive approach.
Harold holds the Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) through the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA) and the Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA) certification from the Exit Planning Institute. He’s also Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) by the AICPA, and he performs business valuations for a variety of purposes.
In April 2025, Harold was named to Forbes’ Best-in-State CPAs List, which recognizes the most skilled and influential CPAs in the profession. A few months later, he was named one of the Top CPAs for Valuations. According to Forbes, which developed the list, “The finest CPAs in valuation services possess a combination of financial acuity, in-depth experience, appropriate credentials, and respect for their assessments, as well as the essential independence and integrity CPAs offer.”
He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration, with honors, from Northern Kentucky University with a major in accounting and a minor in finance. Harold is based in the firm’s Crestview Hills, KY office.
