About Erik
Known for his commitment to his clients and adding value beyond the engagement that helps create a better, brighter future for them, Erik brings a wealth of knowledge and laser focus that deliver peace of mind. During his 15 years at Barnes Dennig, he’s developed in-depth expertise in construction, distribution, manufacturing, and employee benefit plan audits, and his eye for detail, outstanding work ethic, and clear and engaging communication skills make the audit process seamless.
His passion for the construction industry is illustrated by his deep involvement with Allied Construction Industries, where he serves on multiple committees including the Skilled Trade Awards, celebrating exemplary apprentices.
Erik graduated from the University of Kentucky with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in the state of Kentucky and holds membership in the Kentucky Society of Certified Public Accountants (KYCPA).
Erik is also an avid pinball enthusiast and has been collecting and restoring pinball machines for over ten years. A tireless volunteer who believes strongly in giving back to the community, he’s helped organize many social clubs, leagues, and tournaments in the greater Cincinnati area.
