About Ben
Ben provides a wide variety of accounting and audit, tax, and business consulting services to clients with a primary focus in closely held companies in the construction, manufacturing/distribution, and service industries. Ben also has extensive experience leading Employee Benefit Plan audits and sharing best practices with his 401(k) clients.
Ben’s tax advisory and compliance expertise is in corporate and individual taxation and multi-state taxation. His experience includes regular planning with clients to provide guidance on current and proposed tax policy, research of tax law to help clients comply with tax filing responsibilities, and devising strategies to minimize or defer taxation. Ben actively pursues continuing education to build his knowledge base in these specialty areas.
In addition, Ben currently serves as a fiduciary for multiple irrevocable trusts and works with investment advisors to protect and grow the assets of these trusts. Ben previously served on a 401(k) investment committee and has carried out fiduciary responsibilities for 401(k) and Profit-Sharing Plans.
Ben graduated from the University of Dayton in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and is a Certified Public Accountant. Ben is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Construction Financial Managers Association. He is an annual volunteer and contributor for one of the Midwest’s largest cancer research fundraiser events and supports several local charity and community organizations.
