- Average gross revenue per total FTE employee is $899,094.
- The average president/CEO has 17.8 years of experience and a base salary of $216,773.
- Of the companies that pay bonuses, only 67% calculate bonuses using the discretionary method as opposed to 43% using percentage of net profit.
- The percentage of companies providing 401(k) matches increased to 98% from 93% in 2024.
- Attracting and retaining qualified personnel, healthcare costs, and margin pressure due to competition are the top three issues facing contractors in 2026.
