About Eric
Eric has in-depth expertise in accounting and assurance work based on his years of experience supervising assurance engagements. He leads the firm’s construction practice and works with a wide range of construction industry clients, including some of the largest general and specialty contractors in the region.
As a key contributor to the firm’s Assurance Quality Control Committee, he works to provide clients with assurance services that instill confidence and peace of mind. His expertise in both accounting and auditing, coupled with years of training, has earned him recognition and respect from clients and coworkers for his analytical skills and technical competence.
He’s also deeply involved in accounting industry organizations that affect construction: Eric serves on the board of the Construction Financial Management Association; he also served on the revenue recognition task force for Construction Industry CPAs/Consultants Association (CICPAC), which created a revenue recognition implementation guide for construction companies.
His clients benefit from his strong work ethic, attention to detail, and personable style of doing business as well as his 17+ years of experience with Barnes Dennig. As a member of Barnes Dennig’s Assurance Quality Control Committee, Eric brings peace of mind to clients by helping the firm deliver the highest quality assurance services. He is also a member of the firm’s employee benefit plan team.
Eric graduated from Miami University with a degree in accounting. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in the state of Ohio and holds membership in the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants (OSCPA).
