Our 2025 study of 118 regional non-profit organizations found:
- Staffing will remain the same or increase for 92% of organizations.
- The average base salary for an executive director/president/CEO was $153,765.
- Seventy-seven percent (77%) of organizations offer a PPO plan, 40% offer a High Deductible Plan
- Seventy-nine percent (79%) of organizations offer flexible work arrangements (hybrid, part-time, work from home, etc.)
- Fifty-three percent (53%) of organizations outsource information technology and cybersecurity. The other most commonly outsourced areas include bookkeeping, and positive pay disbursement fraud prevention.
This 50-plus page report looks at organizations with fewer than 10 employees to those that have more than 200 employees. Respondents work with small budgets under $2.5 million and budgets over $10 million.
