Courtnee has an extensive background in assurance and accounting, helping organizations of varying sizes and complexities across multiple industries, including manufacturing, construction, restaurants, hospitality, and more. She specializes in audit, review, and assurance services, helping organizations meet their financial reporting, compliance, and operational objectives.

As she leads engagements, Courtnee works closely with business owners, executives, boards, and finance teams to communicate results, provide practical recommendations for strengthening internal controls, identify process improvement opportunities, and address complex accounting and reporting matters. She is recognized for her commitment to quality and efficiency, having led initiatives to streamline audit processes, implement automation tools, and enhance engagement execution.

Courtnee has in-depth experience in employee benefit plan audits. Throughout her career, she has supervised numerous plan audits, developed and implemented enhanced planning procedures, improved audit quality, and assisted with technical training related to employee benefit plan engagements.

In addition to her client service responsibilities, Courtnee is passionate about developing accounting professionals. She has extensive experience in mentoring and training staff, leading technical training sessions, reviewing work products, and fostering professional growth among team members. She is known for her collaborative leadership style, strong client relationships, and ability to balance engagement quality, efficiency, and client service.

Courtnee earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Youngstown State University. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in Ohio.

When she’s not making things better and more efficient for her clients, Courtnee enjoys traveling and exploring new destinations, both domestically and internationally. She also enjoys spending time with family and reading.
