About John
As a Senior Manager in the tax services group, John utilizes his extensive accounting experience to help his clients navigate their unique tax situations. John is a key member of the not-for-profit team, where he helps organizations maximize their resources, taking their mission further while remaining in compliance with the often complex tax challenges they face.
Beyond the not-for-profit space, John’s tax talent ranges from individuals to C-Corps, S-Corps, and partnerships. For these clients, he specializes in multi-state tax issues and federal and state tax depreciation rules. He also serves the firm’s medical professional services clients, a niche that requires familiarity with the inner structure and tax requirements for healthcare entities.
John is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Indiana CPA Society.
John graduated from Ball State University in 2001 with both his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Accounting, immediately joining the Greenwalt CPAs team and becoming a Barnes Dennig Senior Manager when the firms merged in early 2025.
