During his 15 years at Barnes Dennig, he’s developed in-depth expertise in construction, distribution, manufacturing, and employee benefit plan audits, and his eye for detail, outstanding work ethic, and clear and engaging communication skills make the audit process seamless.
Through his involvement in the firm’s Assurance Quality Control Committee, he plays a vital role in ensuring the highest level of assurance services for clients, helping to foster trust and satisfaction. His wealth of knowledge and experience in accounting and auditing, combined with his positive attitude, make him highly regarded by both clients and colleagues for his insight and capabilities.
His passion for the construction industry is illustrated by his deep involvement with Allied Construction Industries, where he serves on multiple committees including the Skilled Trade Awards, celebrating exemplary apprentices.
Erik graduated from the University of Kentucky with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in the state of Kentucky and holds membership in the Kentucky Society of Certified Public Accountants (KYCPA).
Erik is also an avid pinball enthusiast and has been collecting and restoring pinball machines for over ten years. A tireless volunteer who believes strongly in giving back to the community, he’s helped organize many social clubs, leagues, and tournaments in the greater Cincinnati area.
