About Corey

Delivering measurable business impact through deep accounting expertise combined with a strong command of IT systems, Corey Asman is a seasoned Controller who drives immense value for his clients. With over 15 years of experience in finance and operational leadership, he’s built a career around creating scalable infrastructures, optimizing financial processes, and leading technology-driven transformation across growing organizations.

Corey excels at bridging the gap between finance and IT—developing tools, dashboards, and automations that empower leaders to make faster, smarter decisions. Recently, he led initiatives that drove Gross Margin improvement from 19.5% to 31.6% by overhauling reporting systems and leveraging data analytics to inform strategy. He implemented AI-enhanced tools like Concur Invoice, Monday.com, and Reach Reporting to streamline workflows and elevate visibility across the business.

A proven change agent, Corey has been instrumental in multiple M&A efforts, leading post-acquisition financial integrations and designing forward-looking budgets and KPIs to support long-term growth. He also introduced HR automation platforms that improved training, compliance, and talent management.

Throughout his career, Corey has consistently delivered results by pairing financial acumen with a deep understanding of systems like Power BI, SQL, and Paycom. He’s built reporting ecosystems that turn raw data into actionable insights, all while championing a culture of accountability and innovation.

Whether he’s enhancing internal controls, optimizing the month-end close, or piloting automation to cut inefficiencies, Corey brings a rare combination of strategic thinking, operational know-how, and hands-on technical skill.

Corey holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Miami University. When he’s not changing the game and improving results for clients, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three kids, coaching sports teams and staying involved in their activities. As a lifelong Cincinnati Bengals season ticket holder, he admits it’s slightly possible he might be a little too involved in Cincinnati sports – but hey, it’s hard not to be.
