Stephanie has devoted her career to understanding the nuances and unique tax needs of public and privately held companies. This allows her to provide business insight and expert tax advice to the firm’s clients. In addition, she leads one of Barnes Dennig’s cross-functional client service teams.
Stephanie works hard to understand the overall financial picture of her clients so that the tax planning solutions she recommends are comprehensive in scope. This entails consideration of both the business entity type and the personal financial situation of the business owners, among many other factors. She is well known for her attention to detail.
She works with billion-dollar residential and commercial real estate developers with properties in multiple states, and many privately held, middle-market general and specialty contractors. These companies have built their reputations managing public and private projects for decades. Her diverse experience working with companies of all sizes across multiple industries yields a breadth of experience that has sharpened her skills and given her valuable training on best practices across the full spectrum of the economy.
She is a graduate of Northern Kentucky University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in accounting. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants (OSCPA). In addition to her role as a team leader, Stephanie is a valuable member of the leadership of Barnes Dennig’s Emerging Professionals Group, which assists in recruiting, retaining and developing talent within the firm. In addition, she is a former board member and treasurer and current member of the local chapter of the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC).
