Stephanie has devoted her career to understanding the nuances and unique tax needs of privately held companies. This allows her to provide insight and expert advice to the firm’s clients. In addition, she leads one of Barnes Dennig’s cross-functional client service teams.
Stephanie works hard to understand the overall financial picture of her clients so that the tax planning solutions she’s recommends are comprehensive in scope. This entails consideration of both the business entity type and the personal financial situation of the business owners, among many other factors. She is well known for her attention to detail.
Stephanie has more than 10 years of public accounting experience. She has worked on project teams with billion-dollar public companies as well as with the firm’s traditional client base of privately held, middle-market companies. This breadth of experience has sharpened her skills and given her valuable training on best practices across the full spectrum of the economy.
She is a graduate of Northern Kentucky University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in accounting. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants (OSCPA). In addition to her role as a team leader, Stephanie is a valuable member of the leadership of Barnes Dennig’s Emerging Professionals Group, which assists in recruiting, retaining and developing talent within the firm. In addition, she is a board member and treasurer of the local chapter of the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC).
