About Kellie
Kellie has over 25 years of experience providing assurance, tax, and consulting services to organizations in a variety of industries in Ohio. She joined Thorn Lewis + Duncan in January 1996. Thorn Lewis + Duncan merged with Barnes Dennig in January 2021.
Her primary focus is serving closely held companies and their owners in numerous industries, including automobile dealerships, manufacturing, nursery and landscape, and other service industries.
Kellie has an Associate degree from the University of South Carolina and a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in accounting from East Carolina University. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA, member since 1995) and the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants (OSCPA, member since 1995). She is also a member of the Dealer CPA Network. Kellie received an honorable discharge from the United States Marine Corps in 1979.
Kellie participated with Sinclair College’s Dayton tornado recovery team to clear streets and properties in Dayton communities devastated by the May 2019 tornados and has volunteered on the last three Sinclair College tax renewal levies. She previously served as a treasurer of the Music Boosters of Tipp City, Ohio. Kellie is a member of First Light Church, Vandalia, OH.
She enjoys traveling with her husband, getting together with her kids and grandkids, reading, and gardening in her yard – with beautiful trees, flower gardens, and a small Koi pond, she happily says it’s her own personal park.
