With over 30 years’ experience in large and small, public and private companies, and having an extensive history of leading successful business acquisitions and divestitures for middle market companies, Dino heads the Barnes Dennig Transaction Advisory Group. He has also led numerous recapitalization and operational restructuring programs for companies at various levels in their business cycles.
Before merging with Barnes Dennig in 2019, Dino founded Lucarelli Tactical Group in 2003, offering succession planning, capital raising, mergers & acquisitions, business valuation and financial management services to middle-market businesses.
He has been an adjunct finance professor in Xavier University’s MBA program since 2000, teaching Private Company Sale and Valuation, Mergers and Acquisitions, and Corporate Finance.
Dino has served as chief financial officer for two public companies, and was a senior financial executive at Federated Department Stores. He is a past winner of the Business Courier’s prestigious CFO of the Year award. Since 2000, he has been an adjunct finance professor in Xavier University’s MBA program teaching Private Company Sale and Valuation, Mergers and Acquisitions, and Corporate Finance. Dino’s community service includes past work with the United Coalition for Animals.
Dino earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Northern Kentucky University in 1983. He’s an avid cyclist and resides in northern Kentucky with his wife Loretta and three children. He is a graduate of Covington Latin School, Class of 1975.
