Barnes Dennig to join forces with Lucarelli Tactical Group and Ducks In A Row

Barnes Dennig is joining together with Lucarelli Tactical Group and Ducks in a Row effective January 1, 2019. The combination will enable the combined company to offer broader resources and services to clients.
Lucarelli Tactical Group, founded in 2003 by Dino Lucarelli, CPA, offers succession planning, capital raising, mergers & acquisitions, business valuation and financial management services to middle-market businesses. Barnes Dennig provides similar and complementary services including business valuations, financial and tax due diligence, Quality of Earnings reports and transaction accounting. The combined organization will be called Barnes Dennig Transaction Advisory Group.
Ducks in a Row offers bookkeeping, accounting, QuickBooks® training and consulting and outsourced controller services for entrepreneurs, sole proprietors and non-profits. The firm was founded in 1994 by Tricia Reynolds. These services complement and broaden Barnes Dennig’s focus on middle-market assurance, tax and advisory services. Ducks in a Row will retain its name and will operate as a subsidiary of Barnes Dennig.
All told, Barnes Dennig employs 160 people and is a Top 200 CPA Firm according to research by Inside Public Accounting and is the fifth largest CPA firm in Cincinnati. Barnes Dennig has offices in downtown Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky and Indianapolis, Indiana.

Dino Lucarelli is a past winner of the Business Courier’s prestigious CFO of the Year award. Since 2000, he has been an adjunct finance professor in Xavier University’s MBA program teaching Private Company Sale and Valuation, Mergers and Acquisitions, and Corporate Finance. Dino’s community service includes past work with the United Coalition for Animals.
Ducks in a Row is well-known in the community having won numerous awards from The Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber and Milford Miami Twp. Chamber. In addition, CEO Tricia Reynolds is very active in the community holding a Board position with New Life Furniture Bank. She is involved in mentoring and teaching with SCORE, Aviatra Accelerators, Flywheel Social Enterprise and WBC. She is also a Cabinet Member of the Business Courier’s BizWomen group.

Lucarelli joins Barnes Dennig as a Director, bringing the firm’s Director total to 28. Reynolds joins as a Principal. Rammes continues as Managing Director of the combined firm. Five Lucarelli Tactical Group employees and five Ducks in a Row employees will join Barnes Dennig.
