Barnes Dennig’s Rammes Named to Cincinnati 300 List
Published on by Ian McManis in Firm News
For the first time ever, Cincinnati Magazine has produced the Cincinnati 300, a landmark publication that honors a compilation of the city’s top 300 business leaders. These top executives are considered “the most influential, most powerful, and most impactful forces shaping Cincinnati today.” Cincinnati 300 names executives that serve in the following industries: banking and finance, consumer goods, culture and tourism, education and health, entrepreneurship, manufacturing, nonprofits and government, professional services, and real estate.
Barnes Dennig congratulates Managing Director, Jay Rammes, for being recognized in this publication. The Cincinnati 300 list began with over 1,000 executives in the Greater Cincinnati area and was selected by the magazine’s editorial staff.
Rammes knows something about leadership and managing change, as he shares in a recent US Bank Business Watch video feature with the Cincinnati Business Courier on Local 12, Rammes shared why he wasn’t getting too comfortable with the new tax law changes and how it benefits his clients. Additionally, he kicked off Barnes Dennig’s annual State of the Firm event – the January pep rally to busy season – by setting an example for staff to face what’s holding you back to gain new perspective by facing his fear of heights in a ride on the SkyStar Wheel with Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber’s President & CEO, Jill Meyer (a fellow Cincinnati 300), who was the guest speaker at the 2019 State of the Firm.
Barnes Dennig is ranked among the nation’s Top 200 Accounting Firms by INSIDE Public Accounting with three office locations in Cincinnati, OH, Crestview, KY, and Indianapolis, IN. Rammes has served on the firm’s executive committee and human resources committee. With his committee involvement, he has helped hire, train, and/or develop almost every professional staff member. Jay also volunteers with several local non-profits which includes serving on the Mercantile Library board.
Jay graduated from Miami University with a BS in Accountancy. He earned an MBA, with a concentration in finance, from Xavier University. He is a member of the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants (OSCPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). Jay resides in Anderson Township with wife, Lisa Rammes, who is a Partner at Stagnaro, Saba Patterson, son Carter and daughter Analiese.
Congratulations Jay Rammes on making the Cincinnati 300 list!
