Barnes Dennig Brings Home Association for Accounting Marketing Award

The Association for Accounting Marketing 2015 Summit, in partnership with the AICPA Practitioners Symposium, Tech+ and AAA (Association of AccountingAdministration) honored CPA firms around the country at the Association for Accounting Marketing-Marketing Achievement Awards (AAM-MAA) Gala in Orlando, Florida.
Now in its 21st year, the AAM-MAAs recognize outstanding achievement in accounting marketing. Each entry is carefully reviewed and scored by a panel of judges from varying backgrounds and occupations. Digital files of the award winners will be available on the AAM website for viewing soon.
Barnes Dennig was honored to take home the award for Best Event: budget less than $9,999. The winning event showcased was our 2015 State of the Firm, which was held at the Cincinnati Red’s Urban Youth Academy in January 2015. The entire Barnes Dennig firm gathers together at the beginning of each year to “kick-off” the accounting busy season, and to celebrate the firm’s achievements of the past year. This year’s state of the firm was special, because 2015 marks firm’s 50thanniversary, as well as the 2015 MLB All Star game in Cincinnati. Because of this coincidence, 2015 has been dubbed the “All Star Anniversary,” and the state of the firm featured baseball themed activities and appetizers.
This award comes on the heels of being named a top workplace in the city by the Cincinnati Enquirer, as well as being names a Goering Center Finalist in the Goering Center’s Annual Tri-State Family & Private Business Awards.
Barnes Dennig was humbled and privileged to receive these prestigious awards, and the team looks forward to continuing our All Star Anniversary throughout the coming months as we celebrate all of the great things happening inside and outside of our firm.
