2016 marks the 6th time Barnes Dennig has earned a spot on the Cincinnati Enquirer Top 100 Workplaces list, or as their article this year was titled, “Workplaces Worth Loving” – and we could not be more proud to hold that distinction.
Barnes Dennig Managing Director, Steve Hube, puts it this way, “I believe Barnes Dennig has a unique employee-centric culture. Our openness to change captured through continual communication and feedback, providing transparent career path coaching and development in a flexible environment all contributes to our being acknowledged as a top workplace.”
Our firm was founded on the coinciding beliefs that respect for employees and passion for client service are the twin pillars of a successful business; each facet is possible because the other is present. As Barnes Dennig has grown, we have made it a priority to maintain these tenets while adhering to the highest professional standards. In fact, they are the foundation of many of the programs we have initiated, both within the firm as well as the community.
Just a few factors that we attribute this success to is our established keystone programs such as the Women’s Growth & Development Initiative, Emerging Professionals Group, a flexible work environment, and the ProPEL>> Leadership Development Program to provide our employees the best opportunities for their professional growth. So we have many people to thank for the being named a Top Workplace and we are especially honored to be changing the stereotype of what it’s like to work in public accounting by again being the only accounting firm to have been named.

*Based on the results of a voluntary survey of our employees by Workplace Dynamics and Enquirer Media. The survey covered seven different factors – three “My Job” factors: my work, my manager, my pay and benefits – and three “OrgHeath” factors: direction, execution, connection along with overall engagement which includes retention, motivation and referral.
