I’m very proud to announce that Barnes Dennig was honored as the first runner-up in its category at the Goering Center’s 14th Annual Tri-State Family & Private Business Awards. Out of 550 total nominations, our firm was one of 92 qualified & deserving finalists across six categories. After being nominated by an anonymous party, we underwent an extensive application and interview process. The main focus of the questions pertained to our culture, core values, and strategic planning.
From its inception in 1965, Barnes Dennig has built its business upon a healthy work-life balance and a culture that truly values its people and the clients they serve. This mindset has proven to be an asset for our company as a whole. Furthermore, this honor from the Goering Center is yet another reminder of the importance of building and implementing a strategic plan. A large part of the success of any business depends on having a course of action and making sure all team members are on board; our recent strategic planning initiative has proven incredibly effective in aligning Barnes Dennig’s business goals with the needs of our clients.
Although we didn’t take the top prize, we at Barnes Dennig feel proud to be part of a company that’s counted among the top organizations in the city. Thanks to the Goering Center for providing a platform for businesses like Barnes Dennig to be recognized and honored for their work–we hope to be back again next year!
