In 14 years at Barnes Dennig, Chris Perrino has led the firm’s award-winning marketing efforts and played a leading role in growing the firm to become the second-largest accounting firm based in Cincinnati and the largest firm to be located solely in Cincinnati. His impact is evident in the exemplary reviews we have received from clients and the respect he receives from his colleagues.
On Monday, June 11, Perrino was inducted into the Association for Accounting Marketing Hall of Fame – the highest honor awarded at the annual AAM Summit and recognition of his career achievements at Barnes Dennig.
“I’m shocked and humbled,” Perrino said. “I’ve been fortunate to work with great professionals at Barnes Dennig who serve clients exceptionally well, every day. And, the firm’s marketing team members are second to none. I share this honor with them, and with the incredibly bright people from AAM and PKF who have shared great ideas and insights with me over the last 14 years.”
Perrino joined Barnes Dennig in 1997 after 10 years at the weekly newspaper The Business Record, an entrepreneurial venture in which he was a part owner. He has played a key role in developing the firm’s highly regarded seminar and roundtable series, biennial compensation and benefits benchmarking studies, and the client service feedback program.
Barnes Dennig received additional recognition at the AAM Summit when two recent initiatives won AAM Marketing Achievement Awards. Our Community Outreach Day won in the category of Internal Programs: Corporate Social Responsibility, and the mobile version of our website won in the category of Mico/Mini/Mobile Website.
The AAM-MAAs recognize outstanding achievement in accounting marketing. Each entry is judged on four criteria: objectives, execution, creativity and outcome. Barnes Dennig has won six AAM-MAAs in the past six years, including awards for our benchmarking studies and our Women’s Growth & Development Initiative.
