James A. Donnellon, CPA Appointed to Fourth-Term of National Accounting Association Committee

Cincinnati, Ohio – February 7, 2008 – James A. Donnellon, CPA, Director at Barnes, Dennig & Co., Ltd., has been selected to serve a fourth-term with the PKF North American Network’s Consulting Committee.

PKF North American Network is a membership association comprised of 88 independent accounting and consulting firms in North America that are dedicated to serving middle-market businesses and individual clients.

The Consulting Committee members are leaders in their field, with proven track records providing service and solutions to their clients. These leaders are chosen based on their depth of knowledge and experience.

As a fourth-term member Donnellon explains, “I have gained valuable industry information, such as benchmarking data, best practices and resources, and also continue to learn from other professionals who, like me, work very closely with their corporate clients. The resources, relationships, training and strategic alliances available through PKF North American Network ensure we are aware of the challenges and changes inherent to our clients industry.”

About James A. Donnellon
Jim has more than two decades of his career invested in the accounting arena – more than half of which served as a Director at Barnes Dennig. His work outside the firm includes industry experience with a local company, and four years with a major international accounting firm. This blend of private industry and public accounting experience has given Jim a solid appreciation of what it takes to build a profitable company.

Jim is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants (OSCPA), the Advisory Board of University of Cincinnati College of Applied Science, Construction Science Department, and a board member of Allied Construction Industries (ACI). He is also a former member of the firm’s Executive Committee.

He also serves as a board member of the Construction Financial Management Association, offering substantial experience in serving this sector. Jim frequently speaks to organizations about compensation, benefits, performance metrics, best practices, credit analysis, understanding financials, and determining cash flow from tax returns. He also serves as an expert witness in litigation cases. 

A graduate of Wittenberg University, Jim earned an MBA in finance from Xavier University.
