Government and Public Sector

Local governments and public sector organizations are expected to be more efficient and more transparent every day, while taking on more responsibility. At Barnes Dennig, we have the expertise to help those organizations maximize their resources while demonstrating the accountability that the public demands. Our Government Services Team will work with cities, townships, counties, school districts and other quasi-governmental entities to ensure our clients are operating at full capacity and are in compliance with relevant laws and statutes.

We work with numerous organizations that receive extensive governmental funding and are subject to auditing in accordance with various federal guidelines, including OMB Circular A-133. Because we perform so many of these audits, we have a great deal of hands-on experience, which helps us to meet your needs more effectively.

We demonstrate a commitment to governmental audit quality by maintaining membership in the AICPA's Government Audit Quality Center. Barnes Dennig is also a member of the Government Finance Officers Association.
