The Employee Benefit Plan Audit Team regularly receives additional training within this area. The team has the experience and training to perform these duties effectively, while focusing on providing value for the client’s investment in our services.

Our firm is fully independent with respect to employee benefit plan auditing services.  We do not provide plan administration services, employee benefit plan/human resource consulting, or offer investment advisory services.  Our focus is on compliance services including employee benefit plan audit and tax services.  We believe this gives us greater objectivity – giving your plan fiduciaries a high-quality audit product and increased peace of mind.

Charter Members of the AICPA Audit Quality Center
The firm has joined the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants’ (AICPA) newly formed Employee Benefit Plan Audit Quality Center.  Joining the Center was an easy decision for us since we were already doing everything that AICPA requires of members.

• Annual Plan Audit Seminar – Our firm annually partners with other financial service firms that provide services to retirement plan sponsors to present on hot topics and recent developments that are relevant to plan fiduciaries.
• Retirement Plan News – An insightful newsletter published four times a year and dedicated to keeping our clients up-to-date on recent trends.
• Periodic Updates – As events warrant, we convey our thoughts on timely topics to our plan audit clients.

In 2005, our focus and our quality on performing employee benefit plan audits, won Barnes Dennig a fifth Practical Accountant Practice Innovation Award.
