Dave is the resident expert on the tax code, a frequent author and an integral part of the firm’s leadership in his role as director of the one of the firm’s client service teams.

He began his career at the Internal Revenue Services, where he learned a great deal about the nuances of the tax code. At both the IRS, he has worked extensively with construction and real estate companies. The depth of his training and breadth of his knowledge – of tax issues and the industries he serves – make him a decided asset to the firm and its clients.

Dave has more than 20 years of experience in accounting and tax consulting. In addition to experience with contractors and real estate developers, he has worked with clients in wholesale/distribution, manufacturing and the service industry. His goal is to walk a mile in the client’s shoes so he can understand their perspective and look out for their best interests.

Dave has worked with many of the firm’s clients during IRS audits. Because he has experience on both sides of the table, he is able to provide valuable insight and peace of mind to his clients.

He has been published as an expert in the Business Courier and has written several articles for local publications. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Ohio Society of CPAs and Northern Kentucky Home Builders Association.

Dave earned a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Thomas More College.
