Cindy brings 20 years of audit, accounting, financial analysis, business advisory and management experience to Barnes Dennig.  For 15 of those years, Cindy spent in public accounting with international firms and was an Audit Principal in her last position.  During this time she managed client accounting and audit relationships with middle-market, privately held and publicly traded companies.  Her advisory experience during this time included profit improvement, benchmarking analysis, international issues, M&A/due diligence, venture capital financing, operational audits and internal audit planning.  Also, she was instrumental in the success of professional development programs where she developed and facilitated technical training sessions for senior and staff auditors, recruited new hires and created a mentoring program for first-year staff. 

Cindy has a long history of service to the community including Board and Finance Committee membership at Cincinnati Association for the Blind as well as Board Membership and Development Committee Chair at The Kidney Foundation of Greater Cincinnati.  Additional areas of service include Membership on the Financial Planning Committee of the Cincinnati Chapter of the American Red Cross and Finance Committee Membership with Cincinnati Classical Public Radio. 
 
For five years prior to joining the firm, Cindy was CFO of a global manufacturing company.  During her tenure, the company grew annual sales over 50% to $100 million.  While there, Cindy led due diligence projects, negotiations and integration of acquisitions and created long-term incentive compensation programs for executives.  She also negotiated long-term financing and managed banking relationships in the U.S., Europe and Asia.  Her responsibilities included oversight of the company’s finance, accounting, information technology and risk management functions.  She was a member of the company’s Executive Committee. 

Cindy received a Bachelor of Science degree, Summa Cum Laude from the University of Cincinnati.  She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants and Financial Executives International.
