BRIAN S. HARVEY, CPA
Principal

Brian is an integral part of the leadership of the firm’s construction/real estate client service team and the employee benefit plan audit team. His accounting experience and knowledge of the construction and real estate industries make him an asset to clients in the areas of audit, tax and business advisory services.

Brian has been with Barnes Dennig for more than a decade after beginning his career in industry. His primary responsibilities are leading the construction/real estate team, coordinating and reviewing all of the team’s assurance activities, planning and executing client accounting and tax engagements, and training and mentoring staff. Brian’s commitment to the construction/real estate industry lines includes appointments on the Board of Directors at Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC), where he serves as the Secretary, and participation on the Education Committee for Construction Industry CPA’s (CICPAC).  He is also a member of the firm’s employee benefit plan audit team.

He serves on the firm’s Accounting and Auditing Quality Control Committee. In this role, he helps the firm deliver the highest quality assurance services. In so doing, he provides clients and other financial statement users with increased peace of mind.

Brian is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants (OSCPA). He graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Business Administration with majors in accounting and finance.
